I’ve been listening to Troye Sivan‘s brilliant album, “Blue Neighbourhood” a lot lately, and by lately, I mean since it was released last December. It was one of my Top 10 albums of 2015. It’s just a great album – the production is on-point, and the lyrics/stories have depth you don’t typically expect from such well crafted pop songs. Especially from someone as young as Troye.
I’ve actually been a fan of Troye’s music for a while, and “Happy Little Pill” is one of my favorite songs from him. It’s from his EP called TRXYE, which came out in 2014. Such a great pop song. I especially love this live version – such a solid performance.
I’m not the only one who’s a massive fan! Even Ellen is a fan (she’s got great taste in music). Ellen recently had Troye on her birthday episode of the show (MAJOR), and he sang “Youth,” a standout track on his album.
