Panic at the Sisqo

#TBT Song of the Day: “Thong Song” by Panic! At The Sisqo!

Ok, so this is kinda cheating-ish, but this just aired this week, but it’s an TBT song! And because it’s an awesome video/performance, and I was there to see it live!

“Thong Song” is a classic! It was the ish when it came out, and still fills up a dance floor every time it’s on. I mean, if you’re of a certain age, you’ve got no choice but to sing along with it when it comes out.

The video I’m choosing is from Monday, and part of Jimmy Kimmel’s Mash Up Monday — and it’s Panic! at the Disco joined by Sisqo!

I’m such a massive fan of Panic! At The Disco- love their debut album, and their last two albums. And they always put on a stellar show – and this was no exception.

I was in the pit and the crowd erupted! I wish more of that energy was captured in the video. Anyway, enjoy this epic mashup!

Song of the Day: “Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time” by Panic! At The Disco

It’s Friday y’all!

Death of a Bachelor by Panic! At The Disco has been one of my go-to albums since it came out and I love this song.

I saw them a few weeks ago at Kimmel (here’s a dope pic I took), and they’re definitely a good time.

I guess what I’m saying is Happy Friday. Now go have a good time!

Panic! At The Disco Share New Song, “Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time”

Fresh from their gig as the house band on NBC’s New Year’s Eve Game Night with Andy Cohen, Panic! At The Disco released a brand new song, “Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time.

The song is from their upcoming album, Death of a Bachelor, which will be released on January 15. The subject matter is in line with the theme of a a good time and being a bachelor. This is the fifth song we’ve heard from the album, which includes “Hallelujah,” which was released last April.

Their last album, Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!, was one of my favorites. I loved the theatricality of their debut album, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, which was released more than 10 years ago. The middle albums had great songs, but weren’t my favorites. I loved the last record and the songs I’ve heard from Death of a Bachelor and am stoked to hear the 6 songs in two short weeks.

Take a listen to “Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time” and let me know what you think!
