Gavin James James Corden

Don’t Miss Gavin James at the Troubadour On November 21

I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve seen Gavin James in the past eighteen months! He’s one of my latest favorite singer-songwriters, especially live. The way he manages to hold it down with just a guitar is absolutely astonishing. He’s coming back to The Troubadour on November 21st… seriously, it’s going to be the best $15 you’ve spent on a show!

His songs, especially, “Bitter Pill” always moves me. It’s just an incredibly emotional and powerful song, especially live.

Seriously friends, he’s incredibly talented. He’s also super gracious and one of the coolest, kindest people. I’m so excited for his success, especially the addition of “Bitter Pill” on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2‘s playlist! It’s much deserved and I’m stoked for Gavin!

The last time I saw him was at the Troubadour and he was amazing! I also had a drink with Gavin and James Corden… I mean, what a night!

He did a sweet mashup of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” and The Weeknd’s “I Can’t Feel My Face.” Here’s what you’ll be missing out if you don’t get your tix… (added bonus, I”ll be there too).

Gavin James Records Special Version of “Nervous”

This is super cool! I love how it starts and where it eventually goes! I won’t give away too much… it’s good! Super creative!

I’m such a massive fan of Gavin James and his music. Seriously, every one of his songs is my favorite. I’m super excited to pick up his album, Bitter Pill, when it’s released on the 11th of March. That’s also day he’s kicking off his tour in the US – if you haven’t seen him, you’re missing out! I’ve seen him a handful of times and he’s exceptional.

Do yourself a favor, pick up his live album, Live at Whelans, and get tickets to his show!

Gavin James Album, Bitter Pill, FINALLY Has A Release Date

To say that I’m OBSESSED with Gavin James would not be a lie. His debut album, Bitter Pill, was released in his native Ireland a few months back and will finally be released on the 11th of March. FINALLY.

I heard a few of his songs several months ago and was stunned. I had the opportunity to meet him before seeing him open for Kodaline, at The Wiltern, and was thoroughly impressed at how he was able to captivate a massive venue and win the crowd over. He was amazing when he opened for Tori Kelly at The Wiltern as well.

In the past few months, I’ve been to 4 of his shows, and he’s been amazing EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. He’s one of the nicest dudes! I had a surreal “pinch me” moment when I had a drink with Gavin James & James Corden at The Troubadour before his show there. Both top lads!

I absolutely love his EPs and live album, and am ecstatic to hear the whole album. The title track, “Bitter Pill” is one of the best songs I’ve heard in the past few years. It’s honest, heartbreaking and beautiful.

I really do love all the songs I’ve heard Gavin play, but I’m going to post the one that gives me all the feels every time I hear it, and it’s the title track, so yeah, check out a killer live performance of “Bitter Pill.” And for good measure, I’m adding “22” from the same show, which I was at, cuz it was amazing and you should hear it.
