I’ve seen him three times, and each time, I’ve been transfixed by his music. He’s a true singer-songwriter, with chords and lyrics that cut through and touch your soul. He more than held his own at The Wiltern when he opened for Tori Kelly, and again for Kodaline. He also captivated the crowd at the El Rey, especially when he walked off the stage and into the crowd for a song.
Upon first listen, I madly fell in love and was moved by both “Bitter Pill” and “22.” It’s no secret why he was tapped by Sam Smith to open for him on his latest tour and I can’t wait to hear his full length album soon!
If you’re in LA, you’ll want to catch him at The Troubadour on the 3rd of November. Check his website for all the tour dates.
Oh, and he’s a massively cool dude.
