“Undisclosed Desires” is fast becoming my favorite Muse song. The song is the second single off the bands amazing fifth studio album, The Resistance. The song is sonically very different than what I am used to hearing from Muse, but as expected, it has many layers. It is a rock song, but has heavy RnB influences, and is ultimately love song. The song is written by Matthew Bellamy, the band’s lead singer, whose distinct voice is very fitting in the this song. I also like the lyrics and the sentiment of the song – it’s a love song, but it’s somewhat creepy. The chorus is very catchy, and it has a great beat. The music video is really interesting and matches the quirks of the song. While it took me a few listens to really appreciate the song, it is now one of my favorites, although I can’t decide if the song makes me want to dance, chill out or rock out.
